Moms Meet_Dukes Shorty Sausages _Free Sample Review

I signed up for MomsMeet.com which is an awesome community of parents and caregivers that collaborate on information to help guide you and your family to a healthy better for you lifestyle. In this community, you can sign up to become either a mom ambassador or a blog ambassador. The mom ambassadors are women or moms that have a moms group where you will be able to share some great goodies with your group. The Blog ambassadors need to have a blog already set-up and make sure you know how to track your visitor usage before applying because they asked a million questions about how many visitors, followers, likes, etc. After becoming approved as either a mom or blog ambassador, you are then able to start applying to receive for free, test, and review some awesome products that you can feel good about giving to your family. In the community you can also participate in quests based on the sample applications and learn more about the products and earn some points for momsmeet.com. With your points you are able to redeem them for some goodies, occasionally they have surprise sample boxes available to redeem but I have not yet been lucky enough to catch them at the right time. Other than that I feel the prizes are pretty generic and are stuff I could print off of google myself so I do not want to redeem my points for those items. They just announced the implementation of badges, which I am super excited about. They have been mentioning badges for a while but it just started up where you can receive badges for completing quests, completing sample missions, joining in discussions, and more. I love the badges because it gives you a fun way to visually track your progress and remind you of the awesome sample meetings you have gotten to host. I also love that they offer coupons or discount codes for the products that they are featuring, I already saved 10% on trash bags from Amazon thanks to one of these codes for HippoSaks. Definitely checkout momsmeet.com to start contributing with other mamas and to have your chance at some great free items.

This time I was selected to host a moms group meeting to try Dukes Shorty Sausages.  

In the sample pack I received:

• 1 Snack Size (1.25oz) pack of Hatch Green Chile Shorty Sausages
• 1 Snack Size (1.25oz) pack of Hickory Peach BBQ Shorty Sausages
• 1 Snack Size (1.25oz) pack of Tomato & Basil Chicken Shorty Sausages.  

I hosted my moms group sample meeting on a Saturday in October and invited over family and friends to enjoy these awesome Duke’s Shorty Sausages. After having opened the package I was very surprised at the variety of flavors that these shorty sausages are offered in. I was also impressed with the small snack size packs because they are the perfect size for an on the go snack and great for my little one to take to school for a healthy snack. Overall, everyone who tried the sausages was impressed with the flavor and how much they liked them. A couple of the participants including my son were very skeptical prior to trying the sausages but everyone ended up liking them. As for my son it took some convincing to get him to take the first bite, but then before we new it he had eaten the whole thing and was asking for another.

I was certainly going to purchase more of these and was going to use the deal that was included in the sample pack to get 5 snack size packs for $6.50 (shipping included) but before I ordered I asked my sister which flavors she would like. At which time she told me that she didn’t want any more of these sausages because she had bitten into a hard white piece in the last one that she ate. I tried to assure her they it was only a hard piece of fat or something but she is convinced that it was bone and she will no longer eat these sausages. My husband has finished off what was remaining from the sample pack but I am somewhat on the fence about weather I would choose to purchase these or not. I think our best option will be to try out some of their other products like the brisket that are not sausage items.

Parent Cabin- Free Sample Box Review

I signed up for Parent Cabin where you can create an account then check the sample area to apply for free samples to receive in the mail. When I first signed up, I was able to order a few samples that arrived together in a box. Unfortunately, the box was damaged by the post office but the samples arrived in a good condition so that was great.  It is also unfortunate that since receiving this first box, I have not yet received any more samples from Parent Cabin.  I would suggest signing up and giving it a try as I did receive some stuff but it seems to be hit or miss with this one and it is not one of my favorite sites.

It was actually pretty funny with this product and I can easily say that my family absolutely did not like this.  I first gave it to my mama to try because I thought it would be good for her for a snack when she didn't want a full meal while dieting so she tried a sip and absolutely hated it.  She said that it tasted terrible so she gave it to my husband to try next.  He also thought that it was horrible after just one sip so then gave it to my younger sister to try.  She too hated it and by this time I knew there was no way I was going to try this thing.  We ended up just throwing it away mostly full because no one liked it.  We have tried some other powdered protein drinks in the past and liked those but every premixed protein drink we have ever tried we did not like and this was no exception.  I can definitely say that we will not ever be purchasing these in the future.  Seeing how we don't really like any pre mixed protein drinks I think that you may still want to try this one if these drinks are something that you typically like.

I actually have not used this product yet as I have not needed to but am keeping it on hand in case it will come in handy one day. Let's be honest though, from reading the instructions it seems a bit more awkward or a process though than using a typical lubricant so I don't know that I would like or start to purchase this product even if it were needed.

Use the link to check out other Kleenex brand products as the daily facial line from Kleenex has been discontinued.  Apparently others must have felt as I did that these did not work as well as I had desired.  I used this cloth to clean my face in the evening after having showered and before bed to remove my makeup and clean my face for the next day.  I thought that the cloth felt nice and soft and was great to use but it did not do a great job of removing my makeup.  Especially my eye makeup, for which I had to use my usual makeup remover pads to get the job done.  I also noticed that after a couple of minutes that my eyes began to burn pretty bad.  I thought the softness was great but other than that I would not really like this product.  I think that other products I use are more effective that this one and apparently others felt the same.

Mom & Daughter PinchMe Boxes - Free Sample Review

I signed up for PinchMe.com which is a fun website where you are able to log in for Sample Tuesday each month for the chance to receive some free samples to test and review on the PinchMe site. They have been building out the site recently to include surveys and other opportunities to contribute to the community but their main focus is still the monthly sample boxes with a variety of awesome goodies to test and review. You start by signing up and completing your profile so that they are able to match you with the offers that are best for you. Then on Sample Tuesday at the right time, log in and see if there are any samples available for you to add to your box, then checkout and wait for the goodies to arrive. This is completely free, you do not pay shipping or anything, I don’t even think there is a place to input payment information. After you receive products from PinchMe, they will have survey questions on their website for you to fill out but they don’t seem to be available long so make sure to complete them quickly. I have messed up and let a bunch of the survey questions expire by accident, I think this hurt my chances of receiving a box for a couple of months but it seems to be giving me samples again for the last few months so I will be sure to do the surveys this time.

My mama has very dry hair so she used the hair mask and she said: The hair mask worked like a more concentrated conditioner, my hair was pretty soft all day even without using the leave in conditioner I usually use. I would buy this product.

My hair is very sensetive and I struggle whenever I change shampoo and conditioner so I gave this to my mama to try and she said: The shampoo and conditioner was not as good as I expected. You would have to shampoo your hair twice to get a good lather. The conditioner didn’t seem to really condition my hair like I would like for it to.

These Starbucks K-Cup pods are awesome and they do not taste all that different from the regular Starbucks K-cups so that was great for hubby.  I gave him the medium roast flavor for work without telling him then asked how it was and he really did not notice a difference between this and his usual Starbucks K-Cups that I make for him.  I then tried the dark roast and also liked it, it seemed about the same as the other Starbucks dark roast coffees that I purchase but I did notice that I did was a bit more energized than usual.  I would definitely think about purchasing these in the future but my office has an espresso machine so I already get my extra caffeine there most of the time.

This mayo is great and my family loves it.  I have been using both the sample packets and the free jars that we received to make sandwiches for my husband for work.  One day when I was making his sandwich with a different brand of mayo he said "hey, why aren't you using the good stuff".  I am glad that my family likes it as we have quite a bit for free thanks to the coupons that my mama and I received and I will definitely be purchasing more of this in the future when we run out.

The bandages worked alright but not quite as well as I would have hoped for them to.  I gave them to my husband after he had some cuts from work and they lasted quite a while through the evening but when it was time to shower they did get loose and come off in the shower more easily than we would have hoped.  I would probably purchase these again in the future depending on the price because I am not too picky about bandaids but they were nothing special in my opinion.

RippleStreet_Activia Dailies_Chatterbox_Free Sample Review

I signed up for Houseparty.fun which recently changed to Ripplestreet.com. It is an awesome community where you are able to set-up your personal profile then Head over to the party applications page to start applying to host some awesome parties. They also have “chatterbox” opportunities to receive products to test and review without having to host a party. The chatterbox opportunities are far more limited than the party host opportunities but always keep an eye out for both types of ways to participate. The house parties are great, they send you a box full with all kinds of goodies to make your party great and there are always coupons to purchase the specified products (usually for free) or they will include the products in the package. There are also always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in less than a year and have learned about so many great new products so I definitely suggest signing up.

This time I was selected for one of those Chatterbox opportunities for Activia Dailies probiotic yogurt drinks.

In the Chatterbox Pack I received:

• 1 $5 Walmart Giftcard to purchase Activia Dailies

I went to my local Walmart and purchased a mixed pack of Strawberry and Blueberry flavored Activia Dailies drinks using the giftcard provided. I brought them home and let me tell you, they went like hot cakes. My husband ended up being the one to like them best, he said that he likes to drink them in the morning because they make his belly feel better.  He suggested that I try them but unfortunately I never had the chance as they were snatched up too quickly.  I will absolutely be purchasing more of these for my husband and I will be sure to buy enough that I will get some this time.  I have had one in the past at a hotel and I remember liking it and thinking it seemed just like an adult style Danimals yogurt drink.  I think my whole family loved these far more than many other products we have tried so these were a winner and an item I will have to continue purchasing.
