Ripplestreet _Made For America Summer Party_ Free

Hello,

I signed up for Houseparty.fun which recently changed to Ripplestreet.com . It is an awesome community where you are able to set-up your personal profile then Head over to the party applications page to start applying to host some awesome parties. They also have “chatterbox” opportunities to receive products to test and review without having to host a party. The chatterbox opportunities are far more limited than the party host opportunities but always keep an eye out for both types of ways to participate. The house parties are great, they send you a box full with all kinds of goodies to make your party great and there are always coupons to purchase the specified products (usually for free) or they will include the products in the package. There are also always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in less than a year and have learned about so many great new products so I definitely suggest signing up.

This time I was selected to host a Made For America, Made For Summer Party featuring M&M and Skittles candies in Red, White, and Blue themed colors. The party day was supposed to be in June but we thought it would be better to save the theme for our 4th of July celebration. The Ripplestreet site provided some awesome favors in the party pack and great recipes to try out for the party or anytime.

In the party pack I received:
  • 1 Free coupon for for (1) Party Size (42 oz) Bag of Red, White & Blue M&M'S® candies
  • 1 Free coupon for (1) Skittles America Mix (14 oz)
  • 1 American Flag
  • 1 Festive Tablecloth
  • 1 Pack of festive napkins
  • 1 Round Clip to hold recipes
  • 1 Themed Party Bowl
  • 1 Festive Spatula
  • 1 Apron (NOTE: Please be sure to wash the apron before wearing it.)
  • 3 pairs of sunglasses
  • 6 Recipe cards with summertime recipes
  • 10 coupons for $0.75 off M&M'S® candies (9.6 oz) or SKITTLES® (14 oz) for guests

For the party, we hosted a 4th of July BBQ celebration at our house before the fireworks. We set up a tent and decorated it in Red,White, and Blue style. I chose to make the Blondie bars recipe but I took the easy way out and purchased a bag of Blondie mix. I then used the Blondie mix and separated it in two so that I could make ½ with m&ms and the other half with skittles. Both of these treats can out great but I think the M&M version was better just because it was easier to eat. The skittles Blondie bars were difficult to eat once the skittles had been baked and they got stuck in your teeth more than an unbaked skittle. In addition to the Blondie bars we also had an ice cream station where the guests were able to get a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top it with all of the great candies we had including m&ms, peanut m&ms, skittles, and snickers. I cut up the snickers into little pieces for ice cream toppings.

I was super excited to have found the M&Ms, peanut M&Ms, Skittles, and Snickers minis all in the Red, White, and Blue themed colors. I read on the Ripplestreet site that many of the participants were unable to find the themed colors so had to use original colored candies and were unable to use the coupons for the free items. We did have some difficulty finding the themed colored candies and had to travel to a variety of stores to find them all but eventually we did. Unfortunately now the Target near my home has all of the candies in the themed colors on clearance. I think they got the shipment or unpacked it too late as these were not out in the store prior to the 4th of July.

We had an absolute blast at our Made For America, Made For Summer Party and we are thinking of hosting an additional party as we have a ton of leftover candy.
