MyMagazine_Anything For Your Pet_Free Samples

Hello,
I signed up for the Kroger My Magazine Sharing Network community which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. Sometimes the missions offer a free sample to try and then share about while others require sharing with the chance of winning a prize. I definitely suggest you check out the Kroger My Magazine Community because it’s a great time.

This time, I was selected to participate in the Anything For Your Pet mission from which I received some great free samples and coupons to purchase great products for my cats.  I have two cats, an older cat and a younger cat so these coupons have a little something for each of them.

In the sample pack I received:
  • ONE (1) Free Meow Mix® Simple Servings™, 2 pk., 2.6 oz.
  • ONE (1) Free Coupon for Purina® Friskies® Party Mix® Gravy-licious Cat Treats
  • ONE (1) Free Coupon for Purina ONE® True Instinct Cat Food
  • FIVE (5) Pass-along $2 Coupon for Purina ONE True Instinct Cat Food
  • FIVE (5) Pass-along $1 Coupon for Purina Friskies Party Mix Gravy-licious Cat Treats
  • FIVE (5) Pass-along 50¢ Coupon for Meow Mix Simple Servings, 2 pk., 2.6 oz.
Purina ONE True Instinct: My kitties have actually tried the Purina ONE True Instinct Cat food from another sample that I received from Purina a while back and they really loved it.  They both were crying at the bag as I was opening it and they shared the entire bowl while really seeming to enjoy it.  We discussed purchasing this food in the future but we have been sticking to our usual brand for now.  Now that we have more coupons for the True Instinct food, I think we will maybe make the switch over to this now.
Purina Friskies Party Mix Cat Treats: Both of my cats absolutely love the Party Mix treats, they both begin Meowing and going crazy before I even make it into the house with the package. The only problem is that they make my older cat sick and he often throws up after eating the Party Mix but the younger cat loves it and doesn't seem to have any issues. I have been purchasing these for many years and am glad to have a few extra coupons for myself and to share but I try to limit the amount that they get so that my older guy doesn't get sick.
Meow Mix Simple Servings wet food: Both of my kitties always think that they will love the wet food and they cry for it and try to lick the empty dish but they will not eat the food out of their bowls.  The older cat just licks the juice from the wet food and will not touch the actual meat pieces.  While the younger cat gives it a try and eats a few bites but really doesn't like it.  It is not just this food, we have been trying to feed them wet food all of their lives and they just don't seem to like it.  I gave the extra sample cup to my grandpa for his cat who is a female and she loved the food.  She is used to eating mostly wet food so this was great for her and I am sure my grandpa can make good use of the coupons to get her some more.

Smiley360_Skintimate 2-in-1 Shave & Condition_Free Sample

Hello,

I signed up for the Smiley Sharing Network community which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. Sometimes the missions offer a free sample to try and then share about while others require sharing with the chance of winning a prize. I definitely suggest you check out the Smiley Community here because it’s a great time.

This time, I was selected for a Skintimate shave cream mission.  This is a new shave cream that allows you to dry shave then just rub in the remaining solution like lotion.

In the free sample pack I received:
  • One 2 oz. sample of Skintimate® 2-in-1 Shave Cream & Skin Conditioner
  • Schick® Hydro Silk Razor
  • One $3.00 off Schick® Hydro Silk Razor Coupon
  • Smiley Sharing Guide

I tried the product in the morning before work because I forgot to shave my legs the night before and it was a life saver. You just rub it on then shave and rub in the remaining cream like a lotion. It worked well and did not gunk up the razor like a regular lotion would. I thought it worked well but I also thought that it did create some razor burn in comparison to shaving in the shower. I think it is great for on the go and I will definitely keep some on hand for emergency situations but I think I will try to just remember to shave in the shower to avoid the razor burn, even if it is minor.

I would recommend this to any woman though, I think we have all had a situation where we need to shave without all of the hassle of a shower.

Moms Meet_Brandless Cheese Duck Crackers_Free Sample Meeting

Hello,

I signed up for MomsMeet.com which is an awesome community of parents and caregivers that collaborate on information to help guide you and your family to a healthy better for you lifestyle. In this community, you can sign up to become either a mom ambassador or a blog ambassador. The mom ambassadors are women or moms that have a moms group where you will be able to share some great goodies with your group. The Blog ambassadors need to have a blog already set-up and make sure you know how to track your visitor usage before applying because they asked a million questions about how many visitors, followers, likes, etc. After becoming approved as either a mom or blog ambassador, you are then able to start applying to receive for free, test, and review some awesome products that you can feel good about giving to your family. In the community you can also participate in quests based on the sample applications and learn more about the products and earn some points for momsmeet.com. With your points you are able to redeem them for some goodies, occasionally they have surprise sample boxes available to redeem but I have not yet been lucky enough to catch them at the right time. Other than that I feel the prizes are pretty generic and are stuff I could print off of google myself so I do not want to redeem my points for those items. They just announced the implementation of badges, which I am super excited about. They have been mentioning badges for a while but it just started up where you can receive badges for completing quests, completing sample missions, joining in discussions, and more. I love the badges because it gives you a fun way to visually track your progress and remind you of the awesome sample meetings you have gotten to host. I also love that they offer coupons or discount codes for the products that they are featuring, I already saved 10% on trash bags from Amazon thanks to one of these codes for HippoSaks. Definitely checkout momsmeet.com to start contributing with other mamas and to have your chance at some great free items.

This time, I was selected to host a moms group featuring some of the awesome products from Brandless, including their Cheese Duck Crackers.  Brandless is a site where oyu are able to purchase great quality products without the brand name for just $3 each.  Removing the branded name has allowed for a cheaper price by reducing the hidden brand tax.  See the illustration from the Brandless website below.

In the sample pack we received:

  • Five (5) - 5.5oz Boxes of Cheese Duck Crackers
  • One (1) - 3 fl oz bottle of Lemon Verbena Hand Cream
  • One (1) - 12oz bag of Oats & Honey Granola
  • One (1) - 3oz bag of Crushed Pepper & Truffle Oil Popcorn
  • Information sheets about Brandless
For our moms group meeting, I decided to just set out some of the Cheese Duck Crackers for the guests and their kids to grab at from a bowl then placed the additional 4 boxes of the Cheese Duck Crackers out for the guests to take home of they desired.  I also did the same with the Popcorn, leaving the bag out and available for the guests to try.  As for the granola, I decided to do something a little fun and I set up a parfait station with Vanilla yogurt, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, blackberries, and the granola for the guests to make their own parfaits to enjoy with the Granola we received.

Overall, I think the guests really like the products that we received to try and several people, including myself, were interested in becoming more engaged with Brandless and trying more of the products that they offer from foods to household goods.
Lemon Verbena Hand Cream: The hand cream smelled nice and felt great on your hands.  I think this will last a while as just a bit goes a long way.  I would definitely think of purchasing this in the future but there are so many lotions for a great price that I do not know if it would be worth ordering this one for $3.
Cheese Duck Crackers: These Cheese Duck Crackers were awesome, everyone loved them and there were not any complaints about the flavor.  We had recently tried another cheese cracker that everyone hated so it was great to see that these were liked.  I have been giving what was left over to my son as a school snack and I even snuck a box for work because I sort of love them.  The one thing I did notice was that they seemed to go stale much quicker than other crackers that I typically purchase which was not appreciated but as long as you eat them quick they are great.
Oats & Honey Granola: This granola was just what I have been looking for. Everyone loved making the little parfaits with yogurt, fruit and the granola. My son now keeps asking when we can make more. The granola is also great just to snack on which I have been doing a bit too much of.
Crushed Pepper & Truffle Oil Popcorn: This popcorn was really tasty and my husband liked it best but I thought it could have had more truffle oil flavor. I think similar to the lotion, bagged popcorn like this is very inexpensive in store so I am not sure that it would be worth ordering but if I were to order a box of items it would make a great add on.

Ripplestreet_ Oreo Cookie Party_Free

Hello,

I signed up for Houseparty.fun which recently changed to Ripplestreet.com . It is an awesome community where you are able to set-up your personal profile then Head over to the party applications page to start applying to host some awesome parties. They also have “chatterbox” opportunities to receive products to test and review without having to host a party. The chatterbox opportunities are far more limited than the party host opportunities but always keep an eye out for both types of ways to participate. The house parties are great, they send you a box full with all kinds of goodies to make your party great and there are always coupons to purchase the specified products (usually for free) or they will include the products in the package. There are also always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in less than a year and have learned about so many great new products so I definitely suggest signing up.

This time, I was selected to host an Oreo Cookie Party to show off the new fun flavors and have a chance to vote on which is our favorite.  The three new flavors are Cherry Cola, Kettle Corn, and Pineapple Coconut.

In the Party Pack we received:
  • 1 set of photo props
  • 1 OREO Banner
  • 1 sheet of 10 small stickers (for everyone to cast their vote on the banner for which flavor they think will be the party favorite)
  • 1 sheet of 3 large stickers of each flavor (to stick on the banner to indicate the winning flavor from the party)
  • 2 Get ONE (1) FREE OREO Cookies coupons for hosts (any variety 10.1 oz. or larger)
  • 3 OREO food trays (to serve each flavor of OREO Cookies to your guests)
  • 8 $1.50 off when you buy any TWO (2) packages of OREO Cookies coupons for guests (valid on any variety 10.1 oz. or larger)
To prepare for the party, I picked up some extra milk because of course, you can't have Oreo Cookies without a little bit of milk to go along with them. After all, they are "Milk's Favorite Cookie" I also picked up a package of the Original Oreo Cookies just in case anyone was feeling the need to have just an original.

Prediction: My prediction is that the Cherry Cola flavor will be the winner among our guests.

We had an absolute blast at our #OreoTasteOffParty. Before the party started, we all predicted that the Cherry Cola flavored Oreo Cookies would be our favorite of the three flavors that were were trying but in the end we ended up very surprised at the results of our voting.  We enjoyed some milk and cookies together and had a blast voting for our favorite flavors.  There is a link where you can vote for your favorite flavor too so be sure to check for the link toward the bottom of the post.

Pina Colada: This cookie ended up being one of our favorites. I have really enjoyed the new thin Oreo Cookies and I thought these were a great addition to that family.  I typically hate coconut and Pina Colada flavored things so I had expected not to like these at all.  I decided to give them a try for the purpose of the party and voting and it turned out that I loved these. The other guests at the party also really liked this flavor.

Kettle Corn: This was my absolute favorite of the new Oreo Cookie flavors that we tried.  It was a little bit too sweet and just about one cookie was enough, two at most but they were delicious.  I thought that there could have been a little less filling and it would have made the cookies a little less sweet and also would have made them less messy because we found them difficult to hold together when biting into it.  I would really like to see this flavor be the winner of the three that we tried.

Cherry Cola: Before the party we had predicted that this flavor would be everyones favorite but by the end of the party we had very different results.  These were very strange with the "carbonation" sensation that they gave and the taste was just ok.  Only one of the guests at the party said that these were just ok, the rest of us took one bit and put it down.  Even my 7 year old son, who was most excited about this flavor hated it so it must not have been good.

It turned out that we had a tie for the winner between the Kettle Corn and the Pina Colada flavors but the Cherry Cola flavor did not get any votes. Although Cherry Cola was the predicted favorite, it ended up being the least favorite and some individuals said they did not like it at all.
