Hello,
This time I was accepted for a Tajin Party. If you don't already know, Tajin is a seasoning that is great for a variety of foods like fruits and veggies, drinks, pastas, salads and sandwiches. The Tajin company offers a variety of seasonings but our party featured the Classico seasoning. The Tajin website describes the classico seasoning as "A unique blend of lime, chili peppers, and sea salt that brings out the flavor of your favorite foods, fruits, and veggies."
In the party pack we received:
- 1 Tajin Hat
- 1 Tajin Apron
- 1 Tajin Rimmer for Drinks
- 1 full size 5oz bottle of Tajin seasoning
- a box with many little (.....) bottles of Tajin seasoning
- Coupons to save $1.00 off a Tajin product
I have seen this seasoning at my local stores for many years but just had never purchased any before. I am sure glad that I was selected to host a party featuring Tajin seasoning because it is now a staple in my home.
At our party we made a couple of awesome snacks using our Tajin seasoning and Tajin rimmer for drinks. My mom really hates broccoli but will eat it if it is steamed and has seasonings so we tried that for her and it was amazing. I just steamed some broccoli cuts then drained the water and added the Tajin seasoning. We all tried a bit of the broccoli and it was delicious, my son kept asking for more broccoli so this will definitely become a new side dish for my family. We also made the Mango smoothies from the recipe in the booklets we received for the party. We had to change up the recipe a bit because I could not find any fresh mangoes that were ripe enough to make the smoothie so we purchased frozen mango instead. Since we were using frozen mango, the blender struggled to grind the ingredients so we added a bit of orange juice to the recipe so that the blender could blend it. We all loved the smoothie and the broccoli and we are super excited to keep trying this seasoning with a wide variety of foods in our home.
