Moms Meet_Table 5 Cornmeal Crust Pizza_Free Sample

Hello,

I signed up for MomsMeet.com which is an awesome community of parents and caregivers that collaborate on information to help guide you and your family to a healthy better for you lifestyle. In this community, you can sign up to become either a mom ambassador or a blog ambassador. The mom ambassadors are women or moms that have a moms group where you will be able to share some great goodies with your group. The Blog ambassadors need to have a blog already set-up and make sure you know how to track your visitor usage before applying because they asked a million questions about how many visitors, followers, likes, etc. After becoming approved as either a mom or blog ambassador, you are then able to start applying to receive for free, test, and review some awesome products that you can feel good about giving to your family. In the community you can also participate in quests based on the sample applications and learn more about the products and earn some points for momsmeet.com. With your points you are able to redeem them for some goodies, occasionally they have surprise sample boxes available to redeem but I have not yet been lucky enough to catch them at the right time. Other than that I feel the prizes are pretty generic and are stuff I could print off of google myself so I do not want to redeem my points for those items. They just announced the implementation of badges, which I am super excited about. They have been mentioning badges for a while but it just started up where you can receive badges for completing quests, completing sample missions, joining in discussions, and more. I love the badges because it gives you a fun way to visually track your progress and remind you of the awesome sample meetings you have gotten to host. I also love that they offer coupons or discount codes for the products that they are featuring, I already saved 10% on trash bags from Amazon thanks to one of these codes for HippoSaks. Definitely checkout momsmeet.com to start contributing with other mamas and to have your chance at some great free items.

I was selected by Moms Meet to test Table 5 Pizza for free with my group in exchange for posting to my social media outlets and sharing about our experience on the Moms meet website. These Table 5 pizzas are made with a cornmeal crust giving the pizza a unique crunchiness in the crust and also a different sort of flavor. MORE ABOUT TABLE 5 PIZZA from their website:

In the party pack we received:
  • 7 Coupons for a free Table 5 Pizza
  • Many coupons for $2.00 off a Table 5 Pizza
  • 1 Table 5 reusable bag
  • 7 placemats for kids to color (and crayons)

My little one and I colored our placemats together then put them up as examples for our guests.

I used the product locator on the Table 5 website to locate my nearest store that would carry these pizzas and I found the both my local King Soopers and Sprouts stores should have them. I also needed a number of other items so I decided to try to find them at my King Soopers store. I struggled to find them at first because they were not located in the usual aisle with the other frozen pizzas; rather they were in a separate frozen aisle that only has organic frozen foods. I was able to find both the cheese, and pepperoni style pizzas so I picked up 2 of each to share at my Moms Meet group sample meeting. The pizzas were quite a bit smaller than I had originally imagined, they are definitely a personal size pizza, even smaller than Totinos I believe. They were super easy to make in the oven, just heated it to 425 degrees F then heated them up for 12-15 minutes. I was able to put 2 in the oven at once on the same rack since they were so small in size. They cooked nicely and only began to brown a bit on the crust after the 15 minutes, I think it probably would have been best to do the 12 minutes then go from there because the crust on the Pepperoni ended up almost too crunchy to eat. The pizzas came out very flat and crunchy, and looked like “cheap gas station pizza” is what one of the guests said. It also didn’t taste much more impressive than gas station pizza either. Overall, I thought the pizza was ok and I myself ended up eating all of the cheese pizza and some of the pepperoni. I was surprised to find that the cheese pizza had much softer crust than the pepperoni pizza although I believe the crust itself was exactly the same; and I thought the cheese had a better flavor than the pepperoni. I think I was the only one who liked it because I was the only one to go back for seconds after the first piece, I think my son also liked it because he ate both of the pieces he grabbed but then again he was playing his Ipad so I don’t think he realized that it was any different than the usual pizza he eats. I don’t think that any of the attendees were too impressed with these and I think I was the only one who would be willing to eat these again but I wouldn’t mind having them around the house for a quick snack sometimes. I saw on the website, that they have a variety of other flavors besides the cheese and pepperoni and I would definitely have liked to try some of the others. I think that the two that we tried were very basic and did not have a lot of added flavor whereas some of the other styles with additional ingredients would have made a difference in the overall taste and perception. I think I would have most liked to try the Spinach & Feta pizza, I think this one would have gone well with the extra crispy crust that these have and I think it would have been my favorite of the flavors. Since the other party attendees were not interested in the pizza, I have a couple of free pizza coupons left over so I think I will go scour the city to try to find the Spinach & Feta pizza to try myself.
