Hello,
I signed up for the Kroger My Magazine Sharing Network community which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. Sometimes the missions offer a free sample to try and then share about while others require sharing with the chance of winning a prize. I definitely suggest you check out the Kroger My Magazine Community because it’s a great time.
This time I received a sample pack for Dr. Praeger's Seafood. I checked out the Dr. Praeger's website and it looks like the offer all kinds of foods like hashbrowns, bowls, and veggie burgers but this sample pack was for the seafood items.
In the sample pack we received:
1 Free Coupon for 1 box of Dr. Praeger’s® Frozen Seafood Burgers, Seafood Bites or Fishies
3 $1.00 off Coupons to share with friends and family
1 Dr. Praeger's Sticker
1 Dr. Praegers Blue Elastic Band
With the coupon for a free item my husband chose a box of Buffalo Fish Bites. I cooked them in the oven according the the directions by heating the oven to temperature then cooking for 15 minutes then flipping and cooking for another 11 minutes. They turned out a little burnt on the edges that were touching the pan but they still looked tasty. My husband tried them and he said that he liked them but had wished that they had more buffalo flavor. He said that it really just seemed like a fish tater which he wouldn't have chosen and would have picked something else with a different flavor. We have not purchased this brand before but that is only because we really didn't know about it but now that we do, I think my husband will seek out some of the other seafood options that they have. I think he would be interested in trying the Spinach Potato Pollock Burgers and my son would like the the fish sticks or the Lightly Breaded Fishies.

Hello,
I was selected by Smiley360 to receive a free sample of some ob tampons in exchange for an honest review and social media sharing. These tampons do not have an applicator making them more discrete and less wasteful for the environment.
Let’s be honest here, I already knew I didn’t really like these as I tried them once in high school but I thought I’d give them another try. The last time I used these they worked well as far as being discrete because I needed to wear a dress for graduation and only had small pockets built into the sides of the dress (certainly not large enough to hold a full size tampon & applicator). As I said, I thought I’d give them another try now several years later and I really think these are just sort of gross to use and it definitely made me appreciate the presence of the applicator more than I thought anyone could appreciate such a thing. Through this mission, I received 2 18ct boxes and with the coupon was able to pick up 1 40ct box for free so I will be keeping a few around the house for emergencies or when discreteness is key but I also left a box in the office bathroom for the other ladies to take advantage of. I do not think I would purchase these again unless I needed them for some reason but I will be sticking to my usual favorites with the applicator. I signed up for MomsMeet.com which is an awesome community of parents and caregivers that collaborate on information to help guide you and your family to a healthy better for you lifestyle. In this community, you can sign up to become either a mom ambassador or a blog ambassador. The mom ambassadors are women or moms that have a moms group where you will be able to share some great goodies with your group. The Blog ambassadors need to have a blog already set-up and make sure you know how to track your visitor usage before applying because they asked a million questions about how many visitors, followers, likes, etc. After becoming approved as either a mom or blog ambassador, you are then able to start applying to receive for free, test, and review some awesome products that you can feel good about giving to your family. In the community you can also participate in quests based on the sample applications and learn more about the products and earn some points for momsmeet.com. With your points you are able to redeem them for some goodies, occasionally they have surprise sample boxes available to redeem but I have not yet been lucky enough to catch them at the right time. Other than that I feel the prizes are pretty generic and are stuff I could print off of google myself so I do not want to redeem my points for those items. They just announced the implementation of badges, which I am super excited about. They have been mentioning badges for a while but it just started up where you can receive badges for completing quests, completing sample missions, joining in discussions, and more. I love the badges because it gives you a fun way to visually track your progress and remind you of the awesome sample meetings you have gotten to host. I also love that they offer coupons or discount codes for the products that they are featuring, I already saved 10% on trash bags from Amazon thanks to one of these codes for HippoSaks. Definitely checkout momsmeet.com to start contributing with other mamas and to have your chance at some great free items.
I was selected by Moms Meet to test Beyond Meat Plant Based Burger Patties for free with my group in exchange for posting to my social media outlets and sharing about our experience on the Moms meet website. Thanks to the product locator on their website, I was able to find these burger patties at my local King Soopers store in the meat department next to the ground beef. They come in packages with 2 patties per package so I purchased 2 packages; I then had 4 burger patties that I cut up smaller so that each guest could get a taste. These burgers are plant based burgers that incredibly similar to a regular beef burger in both taste and consistency.
In the sample pack we received:
1 Grill Spatula
2 informational booklets on the burgers
7 coupons for a free package of Beyond Burgers
Many coupons for Buy One, Get One Free of the packs of burgers.
They were a little strange when it came to cooking them, the package says to put your grill on medium-high to high heat then cook each side for 3 minutes, it says that the “burger” may still be pink in the middle but not to overcook. This was a little strange for me because I typically like my beef with no pink inside but I followed the instructions and just kept reminding myself that this was all plant based but colored pink, it was not actually raw meat. I also had to reassure some of the guests who said “are you sure that is cooked?”
As far as the taste, they tasted pretty much exactly like an actual beef burger, and if it were not for the color and having told everyone, I think they would have just thought they were regular burgers. My son didn’t notice at all and asked for another burger about an hour after the party. As for my mom who is always trying to diet, she loved these. I often do burger night at home and I am thinking that these will be a great alternative for her on those nights so that she is still getting the same meal as everyone else but hers will be a bit healthier for her. My husband also liked these, he ate his whole sample burger and said that “if you just don’t think about it, it tastes just like a burger.” I do not think that I would purchase these for the whole family mostly due to my preferences but will be purchasing more for my mom going forward. I know in the past my mom has tried to eat the Boca Burgers, and the Morningstar Farms frozen plant burgers on many occasions and just really doesn’t like them much but these she said are completely different and taste great just like a burger so I think these are a much better option for her and others who are trying to eat plant based burgers.

I signed up for Houseparty.fun which is an awesome community where you are able to set-up your personal profile then Head over to the party applications page to start applying to host some awesome parties. They also have “chatterbox” opportunities to receive products to test and review without having to host a party. The chatterbox opportunities are far more limited than the party host opportunities but always keep an eye out for both types of ways to participate. The house parties are great, they send you a box full with all kinds of goodies to make your party great and there are always coupons to purchase the specified products (usually for free) or they will include the products in the package. There are also always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in less than a year and have learned about so many great new products so I definitely suggest signing up. This time, we were selected to host a Diet Coke party featuring the fun new Diet Coke flavors thanks to Houseparty.fun.
In the party pack we received:
1 set of Diet Coke® photo props
1 Diet Coke® cell phone wallet with screen wipe
1 Diet Coke® pop socket
10 $3 off coupons for Diet Coke® for guests
11 Diet Coke® koozies
11 Diet Coke® web cam covers
It said in the party pack description that we would also receive 5 coupons for the host for a free 8ct case of Diet Coke but I did not see these in the party pack, only the coupons to save $3.00 off a case. The coupons for $3.00 off a case worked perfectly though and I was able to get the soda for free anyway. My local store had a sale where the sodas were priced at $2.99 so they all ended up free and best of all, they had all the flavors so we could get them all at once.
We had a blast at our Diet Coke party. My mom had the awesome idea to create decorations by cutting apart the boxes that held the soda, then we used fishing line to hang them from the ceiling. Also, we are Coca Cola lovers around here and have our kitchen themed as Coca Cola so it was fun to use some of the things we already had to make the party more exciting.
Myself, and my family love all of the fun new Diet Coke flavors. They are super fun to try out and switch around drinking and they best of all they are a little better for my mama who loves to drink Coke. She did mention though that she needs to cut back again because she noticed that she was not losing as much weight when coming home and drinking these every day so they still are not great for you. As for the flavors, I think that the Feisty Cherry and the Ginger Lime flavors were our favorites but all of them were very delicious. I was very excited to try the Blood Orange flavor but it did not have much orange flavor so I was a little bit disappointed about that. I am also a little bit disappointed that these seem to lose carbonation very quickly compared to a regular coke or other sodas so a person must drink it fast. I wonder if that has anything to do with the different shaped cans? Overall we will continue to purchase these because they were awesome and I will recommend them to anyone.

I was selected by Moms Meet to test Table 5 Pizza for free with my group in exchange for posting to my social media outlets and sharing about our experience on the Moms meet website. These Table 5 pizzas are made with a cornmeal crust giving the pizza a unique crunchiness in the crust and also a different sort of flavor. MORE ABOUT TABLE 5 PIZZA from their website:
In the party pack we received:
7 Coupons for a free Table 5 Pizza
Many coupons for $2.00 off a Table 5 Pizza
1 Table 5 reusable bag
7 placemats for kids to color (and crayons)

My little one and I colored our placemats together then put them up as examples for our guests.
I used the product locator on the Table 5 website to locate my nearest store that would carry these pizzas and I found the both my local King Soopers and Sprouts stores should have them. I also needed a number of other items so I decided to try to find them at my King Soopers store. I struggled to find them at first because they were not located in the usual aisle with the other frozen pizzas; rather they were in a separate frozen aisle that only has organic frozen foods. I was able to find both the cheese, and pepperoni style pizzas so I picked up 2 of each to share at my Moms Meet group sample meeting. The pizzas were quite a bit smaller than I had originally imagined, they are definitely a personal size pizza, even smaller than Totinos I believe. They were super easy to make in the oven, just heated it to 425 degrees F then heated them up for 12-15 minutes. I was able to put 2 in the oven at once on the same rack since they were so small in size. They cooked nicely and only began to brown a bit on the crust after the 15 minutes, I think it probably would have been best to do the 12 minutes then go from there because the crust on the Pepperoni ended up almost too crunchy to eat. The pizzas came out very flat and crunchy, and looked like “cheap gas station pizza” is what one of the guests said. It also didn’t taste much more impressive than gas station pizza either. Overall, I thought the pizza was ok and I myself ended up eating all of the cheese pizza and some of the pepperoni. I was surprised to find that the cheese pizza had much softer crust than the pepperoni pizza although I believe the crust itself was exactly the same; and I thought the cheese had a better flavor than the pepperoni. I think I was the only one who liked it because I was the only one to go back for seconds after the first piece, I think my son also liked it because he ate both of the pieces he grabbed but then again he was playing his Ipad so I don’t think he realized that it was any different than the usual pizza he eats. I don’t think that any of the attendees were too impressed with these and I think I was the only one who would be willing to eat these again but I wouldn’t mind having them around the house for a quick snack sometimes. I saw on the website, that they have a variety of other flavors besides the cheese and pepperoni and I would definitely have liked to try some of the others. I think that the two that we tried were very basic and did not have a lot of added flavor whereas some of the other styles with additional ingredients would have made a difference in the overall taste and perception. I think I would have most liked to try the Spinach & Feta pizza, I think this one would have gone well with the extra crispy crust that these have and I think it would have been my favorite of the flavors. Since the other party attendees were not interested in the pizza, I have a couple of free pizza coupons left over so I think I will go scour the city to try to find the Spinach & Feta pizza to try myself.
Several months ago, I was able to place an order for a free box of Dunkin' Donuts coffee in their new signature flavors. The idea was to test out these new fancy flavors, then log in to the website and vote for which one was the best. I was able to order a pack for myself and an additional pack for my mom which was great, that way the whole family was able to try these fun flavors. I actually waited far too long to open these and the voting ended up ending before we could try them all but it turned out that the winner was the one that we would have voted as the best anyway so I guess others felt the same as we did.
Blueberry Pancake: This one was just plain awful. Through trying a number of variety sample packs, my family has found that none of us like berry flavored coffee AT ALL. Even just the smell and it begins to upset my stomach these days. A couple of months ago, I found an unopened canister of Huckleberry coffee in my cabinets and decided to start making it using the reusable Keurig cup, I first made some for myself and although it was pretty much awful, I slowly drank as much as I could stomach before making a different cup of coffee. After having decided that I hated the flavor, I tried to give some to my husband to take to work but he came home and said “what the hell did you give me, I cannot even get the taste out of my mug”. I then started giving it to my mother who tolerated it but after a while she nervously mentioned how she really didn’t like it either. I think she was afraid to hurt my feelings but in reality I was the one trying to trick her into drinking something that everyone else hates. I was hoping that this blueberry pancake coffee would be better than the off brand huckleberry coffee but unfortunately it was not even the slightest bit better. I could tell by the smell, as soon as I opened the package that it was not something that I would like but thought I would give it a try with Hubby again. Yet again, he came home and asked “why the hell did you give me that berry shit again?”, all I could do is laugh as my mom came around the corner and said “yeah, don’t you know yet none of us like berry coffee”. So now we know ABSLUTELY NO berry coffee for us again, the second package made its way to the office lunchroom for someone else to take home and suffer through the taste.
Coconut Caramel Cookie: This one was ok, I have been giving it to my husband because he doesn’t mind the coconut flavor whereas I cannot stand coconut flavor so I am not even willing to try this one. He has not complained at all about this one, I know he doesn’t love it as he has not been finishing his coffee but he seems to tolerate it as he has not complained and drinks most of the cup. I thought it could have been slightly more caramel flavored, typically I can smell the caramel flavor in the coffee grounds of different brands but this one just smelled like regular coffee and did not have much of a coconut nor caramel flavor to it. Mostly just sourness rather than flavor.
Dulce De Leche Cookie: If I had to pick a favorite, this one would be it but it is still nothing special compared with the other coffee that I would typically purchase. This one too has a sour sort of flavor to it and it is much more watery than I would like it to be but it has a slight hint of cinnamon flavor that I seem to like. I am drinking this really just to get rid of it and to get a few days where I am not wasting my delicious k-cups that I love but honestly I cannot wait to be done with this stuff. None of these flavors are something that I would have picked by choice and now after having tried them I definitely would not purchase these or probably any Dunkin Donuts coffee based on this experience.
Let’s be honest here, these were just OK. Everyone raves about how good Dunkin Donuts coffee is, and maybe that holds true for their coffee if you pick it up from a restaurant but based on our experiences with these flavors, I would not be enticed to purchase any Dunkin Donuts coffee for home again. I thought that all of the flavors had a sour taste to them and all were far too watery for me; in general I like a dark roast and this was far from that. Although I like a dark roast, I am not very picky with my coffee as any is good but this was just far too watery, it was like warm brown water in my opinion. I was just not impressed. I feel sort of bad for Dunkin Donuts in this situation as at least in my case, the plan completely back fired and I ended up hating their coffee all together rather than finding a new flavor to love. Oh well, better luck next time!
