Marc Jacobs - Free Mascara

Hello everyone,

I signed up as a Marc Jacobs ambassador through the Marc Jacobs Social Toaster website where I am able to post Marc Jacobs materials to my social media accounts in exchange for a chance to win some great Marc Jacobs products.  A couple of months ago, I was lucky enough to be in the top group of participants and was able to receive a free sample of Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara (full size).

Thoughts: 

This mascara runs for a price of $26 from Marc Jacobs and Sephora and in my opinion it is worth the price.  In the past I have not thought there was all that much difference in mascara, but I guess that is because I have only ever use what I can pick up at my local Walmart.  Well, there is definitely a difference and this stuff is fabulous.  You cannot see in side of the mascara tube obviously but when pulling out the brush it sounds and looks like there is an abundance of mascara material in the tube making me think this should last quite a while which I appreciate, especially for that price when my typical Walmart mascara only costs $4.  I liked the feel of the mascara when I put it on, it certianly did add volume to my lashes and seemed to improve the look of the length as well.  I also appreciated that it did not clump up nor feel heavy on my lashes.  I have been subscribing to the Ipsy and Sephora Play! boxes and have tried a couple of other high end mascaras that I did not like at all so I was super glad that this one is so nice.
