Several years ago I signed up my mother for a freebie from Tito's Handmade Vodka and she has continued to receive freebies periodically ever since. A couple of weeks ago an envelope arrived from Tito's addressed to my mom so we checked it out. Inside it appeared to be either a holiday gift or a 20 years of Tito's gift, it was unclear as one card said Happy Holidays but the booklet spoke about celebrating 20 years of Tito's. I am not sure if anyone in the family has ever actually tried Tito's Vodka but I would imagine it is good and I definitely have a good perception of the company after having received a few gifts.

The booklet has some typical recipes such as Tito's Screwdriver but also some more obscure drinks like Tito's Jalapeño Infusion
The pin is super cute but not sure where my mom would put it, maybe on the backpack that she carries to work. My husband quit drinking due to health reasons several years ago so we no longer display this type of stuff around the house like we used to but I am sure we will find a use for it and if not we can definitely find someone else to give it to.

I signed up for the Arm & Hammer Simple Solutions Sharing Network and am having a blast learning all kinds of new tips and tricks and recipes using Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and I have had the opportunity to receive some free products. I was selected to receive a free baking soda storage tin and was super excited because I am always worried about dust and stuff getting into the baking soda that I keep for cooking when it is in the cardboard box. The box arrived and it is super cute although I was a little bit disappointed to see that the Arm & Hammer logo was only a cheap sticker, I would have preferred if the logo were more permanently stuck to the canister. The canister is just about the perfect size, it holds just the very small size boxes of baking soda if you want to put in the whole box or you could pour it in without the box and it would hold much more since the canister is square while the boxes are rectangular. I will definitely enjoy this little canister and for a while used it to store my small size box of baking soda that I used to make pumpkin bread for the holidays. I ended up deciding to use this for the baking soda I keep for cleaning so that I can easily scoop out what I need and the canister is perfect for keeping under the kitchen sink.

We absolutely loved these chocolates, both adults and kiddos. My husband read the box more closely and realized that they say not for kids but my son enjoyed a few as did his cousins until we found that out, after that we said adults only. The chocolates tasted great and everyone liked the benefits that they claimed to provide. In a short setting it was difficult to determine if we were feeling any of the benefits that the boxes claimed to provide but I would imagine if a person were to eat these on a regular basis they would possibly begin noticing benefits for energy, sleep, or pain relief.
My mother was definitely interested in the Vitamin D3 chocolates that we did not receive a sample for and we went out together with the coupons looking for any of these but to our disappointment we were unable to find anything other than the energy in store. We were excited to try these chocolates but honestly wanted to try some other than the energy and absolutely cannot find anything but the energy in store. Due to our inability to purchase the variety we would like, I do not think that we would purchase more of these unless we find the variety we want available in store.

I signed up for and received some feminine hygiene products from Equate free to try thanks to Walmart. Equate produces many quality products that are comparable to other name brand products.

I tried out both of these and actually really liked them although the super size was a bit too large for me. I wear pads to bed and as far as quality they were awesome, better than I had expected. They were super comfortable and soft and moved with my body but also held up well. They had good absorption and did not feel sticky as some pads can. I typically purchase Kotex but will definitely consider purchasing more of the regular size equate pads next month instead so I can see what I think over the course of a few days.

I first tried the cream in my unboxing video and because I had already done my makeup for the day, I chose to try it out on the top of one of my hands. I just took a small bit off of the lid and rubbed it into the top of my hand and was very surprised at how just that little bit from the lid had gone so far, it was almost too much for my hand one hand. I was also surprised at how soft and silky it made my skin feel and it made me super excited to try it on my face that evening. I shower at night so after my shower I put this cream on my face and absolutely loved the way it felt. It was not sticky and went on smooth and just as it had done on my hand, it made my face feel very soft and silky and the cream itself felt very lightweight on my face which was nice. The next morning my face still felt very nice and soft but it did not cause any trouble when applying my makeup which I also appreciated.
I also love the packaging and bottle, the white and silver coloring give it an upscale look and feel that makes you proud to use it.

My sister and her best friend tried these out while having a sleep over and said they definitely liked them. My sisters friend tried the under eye care gel items while my sister tried a mask. As for the Under Eye gels my sisters friend said she really liked these. "I really liked this product. My under eyes feel tighter and refreshed. The product was kind of jelly and lubricated and felt a little squishy."

At our local King Soopers store, they only carry 3 of the 4 flavors so we were able to pick up the Strawberry Raspberry, the Blueberry Boysenberry, and the Lemon Passionfruit.
For our sample group meeting we picked up some little sample cups at Costco so that each of the yogurt drinks could be shared among multiple guests. This ended up working our perfectly too because some of the guests did not like certain flavors at all so that would have been a shame if they had a whole bottle of something that they did not like. I think the overall winner for flavor was the Strawberry Raspberry flavor with the Blueberry Boysenberry coming in second. As for the Lemon Passionfruit flavor, none of the adults liked this one but my son did happen to like to so he was given the rest of the bottle after the meeting. I think the general consensus was that people thought that these were alright but not the greatest but my son definitely thoroughly enjoyed these and has asked to pick up more the last time we were at the store together. I think I would purchase these again but in limited quantities when asked by my child but I do not think I would pick them up for myself but I would be willing to try some of the other Dreaming Cow products.

My son is now turning 7 years old next week so these were not very useful for the traditional use for baby wipes but I like to still have some around the house to wipe hands and faces. I have also found that baby wipes work wonders for a number of household chores such as cleaning the walls and most of all cleaning the front loading washing machine. I used these wipes on my sons face and he did not flinch back from the smell nor feel which was nice. I also used another pack to clean a wall that had gotten dirty and was amazed at the strength of these wipes. They held up incredibly well for cleaning the walls and I was able to re-wet it in the sink and continue using. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone that has a young child and I would without a doubt pick these as my primary wipe choice if I were to have another child. The strength of these wipes is fantastic to avoid mishaps with poopy diapers and cheap wipes, certainly worth spending a few extra dollars.

I have loved using this sweetener blend to sweeten up many of my items but especially my morning coffee. I love the taste it gives in the coffee as opposed to regular sugar. I have also replaced sugar with this sweetener blend in a couple of my recipes for the holidays such as my pumpkin bread. There is a nice conversion chart on the back of the Splenda package that helps to know how much to use in place of sugar. My son started out using the BB-8 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, body wash combo and has really liked it. He liked the pump on the bottle because it was easier for him to get the right amount without wasting too much; we had a talk about needing only 1 pump for your body and 1 pump for your hair. The morning after opening the package we decided to spike his hair for school, after spiking it, we used some of the kids hairspray to hold it in place for the day. Both my son and I felt that the hairspray worked well for our purposes.

He likes the smell and that it is designed to be appealing to boys with the Star Wars theme. He also liked the pump on the bottle because it was easier for him to get the right amount without wasting too much; we had a talk about needing only 1 pump for your body and 1 pump for your hair. I liked the way this smelled for my son and so did he and I appreciated that it kept him smelling nice and clean for an extended period of time because he showers every other night so I need something that will keep him looking and smelling clean for those 2 days in between. I also like the size of the bottles in comparison to some of the other kids products I have purchased previously, the adult sized bottle would help so that we are not running out so often.
Suave Kids Disney Frozen Elsa Berry Flurry Shampoo & Conditioner: This one was a little tricky at our house, seeing how it is marketed for girls with the Elsa design it took a little convincing to get my son to use this one. His father and I told him not to worry that it smelled good for a boy and that none of his friends would ever know what he uses to shower with, after thinking about that, my son was willing to use the product. To further entice my son, my sister and I both also tried the product and it seems that we all liked it. The Berry Flurry scent is awesome and lingers in a good way, I kept smelling my own and my sons hair because it smelled so good. This one is also great thanks to the pump bottle, that makes a huge difference in our home.
Suave Kids Swingin' Coconut Alcohol-Free Hairspray: The morning after opening the sample pack we decided to spike my sons hair for school, after spiking it, we used some of the kids hairspray to hold it in place for the day. Both my son and I felt that the hairspray worked well for our purposes. When I was a kid for a short time I had a perm and it was cute but took a ton of hairspray to hold it in place every day, this idea would have been perfect but after having used in my sons hair, I do not think it would be strong enough of a hold have held together my perm in those days the way my mothers super strong hairspray did. I think this would be best for simple uses such as that I did with my son but I would not expect it to have a significant hold on the hair. Suave Kids Swirlberry Detangler Spray: My son really does not have a use for this product because he has very short hair but both my sister and I have gotten quite a bit of use out of it. I had used detangler spray when I was a kid but now as an adult had just about forgotten about it. I am sure glad it has been reintroduced into my life. It is wonderful, just 1 or 2 squirts and I am able to comb out my hair so nicely without riping out chunks of hair as I go. It also makes my hair continue to feel soft afterward and seems to keep it from tangling again throughout the day. Suave Kids Watermelon 3-in-1 Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash: This one has happened to be my sons favorite of the products that we received to try. He love the smell of this one best and I have to agree that it smells pretty darn awesome. He also likes that similar to the BB-8 wash that it is 3-in-1 so he can use just the one thing for his entire shower experience. Unfortunately, this bottle is a normal bottle with a pop top lid rather than the pump bottle so it is a little more difficult and I can tell there is quite a bit more wasting going on. I think that with these bottles it is difficult at his age of 7 that he is able to shower on his own but the bottle is a bit too big to pick up and squeeze effectively with those little hands when they are wet and slippery so much of the soap ends up running down the side of the tub.
Overall we loved these products and definitely will be purchasing more in the future when we run out of these items that we received for free. After testing these out, I will definitely hunt for bottles with the pump because I think that is a huge benefit at least for my family. We are super grateful to have received these products for free and cannot wait to see what we might get to sample next.

I actually already happen to know that I like the Kroger cereal because their frosted shredded wheat is my favorite, I have always liked it much more than the name brand. The packaging had wording that I of course was unable to read but did by best to use the dropper in the container to apply the oil to my face . it smelled very nice and made my face feel soft and silky. I do not know that I would purchase this specific item in the future but I would like to try possibly some other brands that may have instructions/ ingredients in English.
UPDATE: My sister has tried the Facial Oil and she really likes it. It makes your face feel nice and soft. She used it at night but said that the next morning her face felt fresh and soft.

We tried out one of the packages with 2 loads of laundry and I gave the other sample pack to a friend for them to try. I used our sample packs for my husband’s laundry because he often complains about the soap I use irritating his skin. Recently I have been trying our some free & clear laundry samples on him to see what he likes and these passed the test. He has not complained about any skin irritations after wearing the clothing that has been washed with this detergent. I appreciate that this brand is widely available to pick up in store and that I do not have to order it. A couple other free & clear detergents that we have tried recently are subscription plans which is not something I am willing to start at this time so am glad to have found an option for Free & clear detergent that I can pick up at my local store anytime. I also liked the pods, I typically purchase liquid soap but my son has recently begun to help with more chores such as laundry but finds it difficult to correctly pour the right amount of soap from the bottle. These detergent pods make it so much easier for him to just grab a pod and know that is the right amount of soap. I may definitely be switching to pods to enable my son to help around the house more.
I am participating in a mission through Smiley 360 Sharing Network to share my Holiday recipes and all the fun we have had baking together.
First the kids and I made Sugar Cookies with frosting and sprinkles. My mama was the sprinkle decorator while the kids and I decorated with frosting. I had tried a number of sugar cookie recipes that never worked, the dough was always too sticky to roll and cut or had some other issue. A couple of years ago I was eating some cookies from the Pot Luck at work and realized that these cookies tasted just like I remembered having made as a kid. I asked for the recipe and have made these cookies multiple times and have not had any trouble with this recipe.
The Recipe is as follows. Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 1/2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt Directions:
Mix butter and sugar well then add eggs and stir until blended. Add 1 cup flour with the rest of the indgetients and mix well. Add rest of flour and mix well. Chill in refrigerator for a half hour ten let sit on counter 10-15 minutes before rolling. Roll about 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 400 degrees for about 8 minutes of until edges barely start to brown.
Makes 20-30 cookies depending on the size of the cookie cutter shape you might choose to use.
Decorate with frosting.
I also make a homemade pumpkin bread. I got the recipe from my cooking class in High School and love this version. It is so tasty and more flavorful that other store bought pumpkin bread loaves. My son loves the Pumpkin Bread and said that I need to make it more often than just during the holidays.
The Recipe is as follows.
Directions:
Move the oven rack to the low position so that the tops of the baking pans will be in the center of the oven. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brease BOTTOMS ONLY of pans. Mid together the pumpkin, sugar, oil, vanilla, and eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients except the pecans. Gently stir in the pecans if you have chosen to use them. Divide the batter evenly. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes on wire rack. Gently loosten the sides of loaf pans. Remove and place topside up on cooling rack. Cool completely before wrapping.

I was selected by Crowdtap to try and review for free some French’s Tomato Ketchup made with No High Fructose Corn Syrup. In the Crowdtap sample package we received 1 full size 20oz bottle of French’s ketchup. I first gave some to my son with his snack of dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets. He definitely seemed to enjoy the ketchup as he finished all of it along with the mustard and must not have noticed any sort of difference compared to what he is used to because he did not comment on the ketchup at all. When I asked him what he thought, he looked at me sort of funny and just said good; I think he was wondering why I was so curious about the ketchup. The ingredients are not something that I would typically concern myself with too much but I am appreciative that this ketchup is Non GMO and does not contain any High Fructose Corn Syrup. I can feel that the condiments I provide for my family are somewhat healthier than alternative brands that I may have purchased.
I then made hamburgers for dinner one evening and we all ate our burgers with the French’s Ketchup we received. We all thought that the ketchup had a good tomato flavor yet also had a good tanginess to it. My mama is a ketchup critic, she loves ketchup but often complains about the generic brands that I purchase. She loved this one, good thing I think I saw it at Costco because she said I need to purchase this one from now on.

My son and I received a bottle of these Lil Critters Gummy Vites free to try from Smiley360 in exchange for an honest review. These are kids daily vitamins that are in gummy bear form. My son has loved these since the first one he ate, he asks every morning for me to open the bottle for him so he can take his vitamin now and says they are delicious. They are a little bit stickier than I would have imagined but that does not seem to bother my son at all, and he has enjoyed picking out the different color choice each day. I am so proud that my son is being responsible to take these and I believe it is thanks to the great taste. I love that he is now happily taking his vitamins every day, we will be purchasing these as soon as we run out of those we received for free.
Hello, My mama and I were at the mall and decided to stop into the Sephora store. I just recently signed up for the Sephora Play! Monthly subscription box and have really loved it so we decided to check out the store. While we were in the store, an associate asked if we were signed up for the Beauty Club, I was but my mother was not. She decided to sign up and while doing so gave her birthday which happens to be this month (November); because it was her birthday month she received a free gift. I was selected by Tryazon to hose a party featuring Strictly Briks which are similar to Legos but have some awesome features that I have not seem from Lego such as the flexible pieces. Silicone Briks and Straps: A small package of the pieces included the soft flexible brick pieces which are great for building slides and ramps from one level to another. These flexible pieces are awesome as they have so many uses that the standard hard bricks do not allow for. Most of all, as every parent knows, stepping on Brik pieces is the worst feeling. With these soft flexible bricks, that is not a concern I need to have anymore. Well, of course we have tons of regular hard Legos laying all around the house as some sort of trap it seems but at least I don’t have to worry too much about these few pieces when I see them left on the floor. Brik Breaker Game: This game was super fun and it was great for little boys who like to destroy stuff. This was a bit of authorized destruction that the kiddos had a blast with. After a couple of tries, the boys got tired of rebuilding the tower so the parents jumped in and began building. It was fun for the parents to try to figure out how to build it more sturdy so that it took the boys more time to destroy it. Baseplates: The baseplates are awesome from this company. My mother and I have struggled to find any like these for a while because the ones we typically find are flimsy and flop around. These are nice and sturdy so that they can easily be used for various levels as shown in the image but they are also great for a kid like my son who likes to build his creation then transport it all over the house to show everyone. My son struggles to carry his creations when the baseplate is flopping around and the pieces fall off so these new ones are great for him. I would definitely recommend these to anyone and will likely be purchasing more. Additionally these fit perfectly with name brand Lego pieces as well.
Each of the kiddos wanted to keep the Strictly Briks creation they had built together so instead we divided up the pieces and each kid took home a few of the platform pieces and a bag full of Brik pieces to play with at home.

We were selected to host a Smart Games party thanks to Tryazon and Smart Games USA. These games are designed to help stimulate brain activity and they sure do what they say. We have been discussing starting up a family game night so this acceptance arrived just in time to get us started. The Smart Games website states "Have fun exercising your brain with SmartGames! Utilize skills ranging from spatial insight to pattern recognition, while improving your problem solving abilities and your memory. Each Smart Game is carefully designed and produced using quality materials that last. And with so many included challenges, each game can be replayed over and over again. Challenges are divided into 4 or 5 levels of difficulty. You start with the easiest challenges. Gradually, the challenges get more difficult, so that they stay interesting and fun."
I introduced each of the games by opening up each of them and reading the instructions along with the party guide. Then, because each of the games were 1-2 player at most, we split into groups and each played different games. Then we switched so that each group had a turn with each game. This worked out well and gave each person a chance to play each game and figure out which would be beneficial and/or fun for their family. In the party pack we received:
2 Color Code Games
2 Little Red Riding Hood Games
and
2 IQ Puzzler games
We also received a coupon code to save a few dollars should we or any of our guests decide to purchase more of these games.
Each of these games are at most a 2 player game so we broke into groups to play each game then switched so that everyone attending would have a turn with each game. We definitely did have fun and were using our brain power to play these games but some were definitely easier than others even at the most difficult levels, this made it difficult to keep some of the kids engaged in their own game while waiting for another game to open up.
I think the favorite game was the IQ puzzler, even at the Junior level it became very difficult even for the adults to solve the puzzle. I heard some comment that it would be a great stress reliever to play this game and that it would be good for road trips because it is so compact.
We also really liked the Color Code game, it was slightly easier than the IQ game but was still very fun at the difficult levels.
Little Red Riding Hood Deluxe: The Little Red Riding hood game was fun but I would say it was also the easiest, my son had fun playing it but got bored quickly and wanted to play the other games. My husband commented that the Little Red Riding Hood game would have been more fun and would have taken more time and interest had the board been bigger and contained more pieces to place. This game is definitely geared to a younger crowd, I would say more around the 3-5 year age range. I think with all of the electronics that these kids play, that by the time they are closer to 6 or 7 years old their brains have already surpassed this level of game play for the most part. To make it more exciting my son and I made up some of our own rules for this game, it is designed to be a 1 player game but we decided to make it 2 players; I pretended to be Little Red Riding Hood while my son pretended to be the wolf. We then would race to place the pieces and make it to the house while I continued to yell “Don’t Eat My Grandma!!!” My son found this very funny and it made the game more exciting for the both of us. Color Code: This game was fun, it consisted of many colored pieces that you needed to place correctly to match the image that was provided in the booklet. Myself and my sister played this game and at first she thought that it was too easy and was not having much fun so we decided to go to the back of the book and play the expert level. At this level we did have quite a bit of fun and we also struggled a bit on some of them what definitely made it more exciting. I think this game would be the perfect transition for my son from the Little Red Riding Hood game to something that is a little more difficult for him. I also thought this game was just OK for adults, not very difficult but was OK. IQ Puzzler: This game was by far everyone’s favorite game of the evening. This game was great for both adults and children and was much more difficult than the other games from the very beginning (at the easiest levels). My mom loved this game the most and has asked for it for Christmas as a present so I have ordered an additional one for her. We had tons of fun playing this game and while one personplayed others would sit around watching trying to figure it out themselves just from looking at it. We also liked that this game was small and compact so that it could easily be taken on road trips or on an air plane. This game is absolutely perfect for any age and seems to seems to require the greatest amount of brain power in comparison to the other games we received and played. I noticed on the website that they have a number of games that are very similar to this one but with different shaped pieces so I think we may be ordering a couple of the others that looks like this one.

We were selected by Momsmeet.com to host a sample party featuring Orgain Kids Protein Nutritional Shakes. I was not sure if I should apply for this sample because my son eats awfully good in my opinion and does not really need protein drinks but after having tried these, I am so very glad that I applied and was selected. Orgain has protein products such as protein powder and pre-made protein drinks for both adults and children.

We invited family and friends over for a fun Halloween themed get together to sample these awesome drinks. All of the kids really loved them and were super excited to take a few home in their treat bags. My mom has sold some other protein shake powder in the past so she was able to inform everyone at the meeting about some great recipes that could be used in conjunction with the protein powder mix.
My son and my 16 year old sister absolutely loved the pre made chocolate drinks. They drank all of them in just a few days and now have been begging for more. These were great for my sister who is in high school and often does not eat a full meal before or during school so this was a good way for her to get some extra nutrition. As for my son, I still don't think he really has a need for these but he absolutely loved them and was super cute hiding the last one from his auntie.
We will absolutely be purchasing more of these in the future and look forward to trying some of the other flavors such as the strawberry.

I was selected by MomsMeet.com to sample some Hippo Sacks for Free with my moms group. The majority of the moms in my group are also my co-workers and we happened to be having a Halloween party at work so decided to host our group meeting at that time to get use of the trash bags while cleaning up and also to expose the samples to many more people since there were so many included. One of the mamas in our group was super excited about the Diaper bags, she still has a little one in Diapers and could make good use of these. Several of the other moms were interested in the pet bags, it seems like a cheap way to have a bulk stock of pet bags, especially for walking the dog.
I most of all am liking the Kitchen Trash Bags with the wide handles. They seem super strong, in fact, stronger than I would have imagined and the handles are awesome. I am the sort that will risk losing circulation to my hand in order to make only 1 trip, and these wide handles are fabulous for that, they do not cut into my hands nor hut at all when carrying outside. I am also very appreciative for the strength because I have been teaching my 6 year old son to take out the trash but of course he is a trash bag dragger so luckily the strength of the bags helps prevent them from tearing while he is dragging through the house and yard.
