My kids and all of their cousins grew up on the Gerber puff snacks for babies so they are well accustomed to enjoying this type of snack. My son is about 8 years older than my daughter and even he loved to sneak some of her Gerber snacks when she was little so I knew he would be a fan of these LesserEvil Lil' Puffs. We shared the Lil' Puffs with our family and friends at a summer BBQ that included family of all age ranges. I targeted our group of little girls as I thought they would be most interested in this particular snack and I assumed this snack was one that the parents would purchase with the youngest kids in mind. The girls liked the snacks and enjoyed their coloring books and the older boys seemed to enjoy the snacks as well. While the kids were enjoying the snack I talked with the parents about LesserEvil and the variety of snacks available, I was also able to show the older group of boys the various varieties of which they might be more interested to try with the coupon they received. The older kids seemed most interested in the cookies and popcorn options that we observed on the website. The adults and I also reviewed the store locator and were surprised to find that just about all of the big stores in our area have started to carry the LesserEvil line of products so they will be easily attainable for all of the families that attended our event.

After the party we had a large number of bags of Lil' Puffs remaining so I let each of the little girls take home a few bags to continue enjoying over the next week and they also took home their coloring books. Long time no post for me but after a pandemic baby and learning new ways of living I’m back at it trying to save money and improve my families lifestyle in the process.
I signed up for Tryazon several years ago and have received a number of great opportunities to host parties for our friends and family. For this opportunity we were selected to host a @Tapple game night party from USAOPOLY (@TheOpGames) and @Tryazon. We had an absolute blast with this new game, from ages 2 to 92 we all enjoyed answering the questions. I realize the box said for ages 8+ and that is probably the best age for getting useful answers but the 2 year old at our party begged to be included in the game so we found a way to work her in at certain turns to help answer the questions. Although the game strategy is not suited for a 2 year old, I do think it was still a good learning tool to use with the baby for learning to answer questions. Also, given the layout of the game, the smaller children could be involved without messing up game pieces like with a typical board game. As for the adults and older children playing, I found it very fun to hear the different answers that were given by different age groups. We found that the persons age and differences in knowledge and life skills resulted in some wildly differing answers to the questions between players. This game was an absolute blast for all ages, it was fun to play with the 2 year old and help her learn and fun to hear the answers from the 92 year old who also got some memory exercise from the game. I personally think playing with individuals of a variety of ages made the game very fun and interesting. We are looking forward to playing again soon!

I signed up for MomsMeet.com which is an awesome community of parents and caregivers that collaborate on information to help guide you and your family to a healthy better for you lifestyle. In this community, you can sign up to become either a mom ambassador or a blog ambassador. The mom ambassadors are women or moms that have a moms group where you will be able to share some great goodies with your group. The Blog ambassadors need to have a blog already set-up and make sure you know how to track your visitor usage before applying because they asked a million questions about how many visitors, followers, likes, etc. After becoming approved as either a mom or blog ambassador, you are then able to start applying to receive for free, test, and review some awesome products that you can feel good about giving to your family. In the community you can also participate in quests based on the sample applications and learn more about the products and earn some points for momsmeet.com. With your points you are able to redeem them for some goodies, occasionally they have surprise sample boxes available to redeem but I have not yet been lucky enough to catch them at the right time. Other than that I feel the prizes are pretty generic and are stuff I could print off of google myself so I do not want to redeem my points for those items. They just announced the implementation of badges, which I am super excited about. They have been mentioning badges for a while but it just started up where you can receive badges for completing quests, completing sample missions, joining in discussions, and more. I love the badges because it gives you a fun way to visually track your progress and remind you of the awesome sample meetings you have gotten to host. My son and I traveled to our local King Soopers, Target, and Safeway stores to get a variety of the flavors that we wanted to try at the sample party. I found that most stores only care 1 or 2 flavors so we had to travel around to find what we wanted. Now after the sample party I have noticed that most stores are carrying more of the DRY Soda products on a consistent basis. The flavors we chose were the Vanilla, the Lavender, and the Blood Orange flavors. The Vanilla and Lavender flavors came in a glass bottle, whereas the Blood Orange flavor came in a can. We chose to only pick up three of the flavors because we wanted to have some coupons left over to give out to the mamas that would be joining the sample meeting. For the meeting I set out some little plastic cups so that each of the guests could get a small taste of each of the flavors without having to open a new bottle/can each time. This worked perfectly and allowed us to only open 1 or 2 of each flavor and had some unopened left over for the guests to take home.
The likability seemed to depend heavily on whether the individual already liked flavored sparkling water drinks or not. For myself, I don’t ever like flavored sparkling water so these were not an item that I really loved but for others like my mama who do like those drinks these were quite a treat.
Vanilla
The vanilla flavor was the most popular by far and was one that we purchased an additional package of after having hosted the party. It has a great light vanilla flavor with the sparkling carbonation which is a great combo. Most of the guests asked for seconds or thirds, and one even asked for a whole bottle to enjoy herself.
Lavender The lavender flavor was a surprise to us, we thought that this would be a favorite because both my mom and sister love lavender flavored foods like lavender truffles and other items. We were excited to pick up a pack of the lavender flavored drinks but to our surprised when we tried them, no one liked the flavor as much as we liked the other flavors of DRY Sparkling soda that we had tried. I don't think anyone attending the meeting would choose to purchase this flavor again.
Blood Orange
The Blood Orange flavor was by far my favorite of the three that we tried. I already knew that I liked blood orange flavor so I was excited to try this one out but I have found that blood orange flavor seems to be a hit or miss sort of flavor with most people. Some of the guests did not like this flavor at all while others liked it as one of the best.
Overall the drinks were good, they are not something that I loved enough to purchase on a consistent basis but if I had to drink one of these at an event or something, I would not mind. I think these would be a great option for anyone who likes flavored sparkling water drinks or give them a try if you're looking to just switch things up a bit. I signed up for the Generation Good Sharing Network community by Seventh Generation which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. My mama and I sat together one evening and packed up each of the little sample bags for each of his guests to have. This was a super fun process and reminded me of when I was a little girl and would help my mama and grandma pack the Avon booklets and samples to leave on doors. We then hosted our party for all the lovely ladies that we know of that are either new parents or soon to be parents and they were all super appreciative of the great goodies they received. We even received so much stuff that we had several bags left over to share with others who were not able to join the party. Seventh Generation Disinfectant spray
This disinfectant spray has been working great for uses in both my kitchen as well as by bathroom and a few other areas around the house. I recently ran out of Clorox wipes for the kitchen so rather than running out to buy more, I thought I would give this disinfectant spray a try and I really like it. I like the ease of just spraying a bit of the solution and also I like not wasting a whole Clorox wipe for a small wipe down. The sprayer works nice and gives a good spray, not too wide but just good enough to get a good surface area for cleaning. This is a great product for providing the peace of mind that my family could eat off the counter tops when I am done cleaning them and without fear of any unintended chemicals getting to my family. I will certainly be purchasing this product again in the future. Seventh Generation Free & Clear Dish Soap
This dish soap works pretty well and good enough to get the job done but lets be honest, its no Dawn soap when it comes to cutting grease. I have been a long time supporter of Dawn soap with their efforts to help save animals in the wild during oil spills and other disasters. My personal vision on this is that if the product is gentile and safe enough to save animals then it must be good enough for my family. Therefore, I do not feel badly about the chemicals in Dawn products and will continue to use them after I run out of the Seventh Generation dish soap. Through the Generation Good program, I have received a few opportunities to try the dish soap so I have about 3 or 4 bottles around my house right now and have been using that for a few months. Another bit of honesty, I have keep a bottle of Dawn on hand for those tricky greasy items that the Seventh Generation soap just can't clean. This soap suds up well and seems to clean the dishes nicely but it just doesn't do much to cut through the grease. I would definitely by this again if there is a good deal because it does work good enough but it is certainly not my first choice in dish soap. Seventh Generation Free & Clear Baby Wipes
These Seventh Generation baby wipes are awesome, these too I have gotten a few samples of from the Generation Good community and I love them. I use them for a variety of uses, really everything other than wiping my babies butt since he is quite a bit too old for needing mommy to change him at this point. I use these wipes for cleaning my kitchen, windshield, and anything that I see that could use a good wipe down. I also do use these for my sons face on occasion, they are great to keep in the car for moments when we get a little too dirty and need to clean our hands and face or clean up a bit of the car. These wipes are strong and hold up good to a bit of scrubbing which I also appreciate rather than it falling apart as I wipe. I would definitely purchase these for use with changing a baby if I were to have another child in the future.
Seventh Generation Diapers
I have not used these diapers as my son is far past the diaper stage at this point but I have the bag away to another new mother that I am friends with and she was very appreciative. The diapers appeared to be of good quality and I am sure I would try them if I were to have another child in the future. Seventh Generation Feminine Hygiene Pads Trial Packs
Each of the sample packs contained 3 pads, 1 Regular Ultra Thin Pad with Wings, 1 Regular Maxi Pad, and 1 Overnight Maxi Pad with wings. I have used all of these pads and they are pretty good. Most of all I like the regular ultra thin pads with wings, these are absorbent enough for me and they are thin enough that they are not getting in the way. I have also used the other two sizes of pads when I have run out of my usual favorites but they both are very thick and feel like I am wearing a diaper. The thickness of the maxi pads may be good for some but they are just too thick for my needs. I really only wear pads at night so the thickness is not too much of an issue as I am just going to bed but I prefer a thinner pad usually. I also liked that these definitely felt all natural. I often find that my other pads make me itchy whereas these did not cause that at all which was much appreciated. I would definitely think about purchasing these in the future if there was a good sale or coupon. Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Soap Samples (1-load)
This laundry soap works well enough, I do not have a typical laundry soap that I use because we have been receiving so many different samples over the last couple of years but this one was relatively the same as all the others. It cleaned well and did not really have any scent to it so I was satisfied and my family did not complain about itchy skin which they sometimes do with other laundry soaps.
Orgain Protein Powder - Creamy Chocolate Fudge flavor
We first received sample packs of this protein powder from a Moms Meet sample program that we participated in about a year ago and we loved these. They are so tasty and super easy to make and take along for a healthy and filling snack on the go. We have liked having both the vanilla and chocolate flavors but in this particular sample pack we only received chocolate flavor. Kids Orgain Shakes
We first received sample packs of this protein powder from a Moms Meet sample program that we participated in about a year ago and we loved these. In this sample pack we only received coupons to purchase the kids protein drinks but that was great because we already know we love them. Here is what we wrote about the previous sample party with these:
"My son and my 16 year old sister absolutely loved the pre made chocolate drinks. They drank all of them in just a few days and now have been begging for more. These were great for my sister who is in high school and often does not eat a full meal before or during school so this was a good way for her to get some extra nutrition. As for my son, I still don't think he really has a need for these but he absolutely loved them and was super cute hiding the last one from his auntie."
Zarbees Gripe Water samples (5ml)
As my little one is quite a bit older, I did not personally have any use for these but I did give them out to a number of mamas that I know with little babies and hopefully they were able to get some use and some benefit out of this product. I would certianly be interested in trying this in the future if I were to have another child, my son could have use this when he was a baby for sure. Schmidt Naturals I personally did not try any Schmidt Naturals products nor have I ordered any but they seem nice from what I read on the website and I would suggest checking them out if you are interested. This app looks really cool for nursing mothers. I do not personally have a need for this right now but I checked out the website and it looks really cool for nursing mothers to connect and share all about the good and the bad about the nursing spots around town. With one of the free coupons that we received I let my 8year old son choose one of the fruit pouches from the cold section near the yogurt. I don’t know if maybe the ones my store had were expired or what but these were absolutely terrible. The look, smell, and taste of the fruit pouch was not good at all. After trying this, I looked again on the website and realized that this company makes both cold fruit pouches as well as baby food pouches that do not need refrigeration. I believe my store may have had the refrigerated ones placed in the warm section for too long before realizing that these needed to be refrigerated and they spoiled while warm. That is the only reason I can think of for these being so terrible. Unfortunately this product may be awesome but due to our really bad first impression I don’t think we will be interested in trying these again in the future.

I hosted the party on a Saturday and promoted it as a relaxation party where we just sat back and enjoyed some tea and a movie while talking a bit. To my surprise most of the guests chose different flavors/versions of the teas that we had to sample and every person loved the tea that they chose to try. I personally tried the Sweet Tangerine Positive Energy Tea and I loved it, but I also tasted a bit of the Honey Lavender Stress Relief tea that my mom and chosen to try and that had an awesome taste as well. My son wanted to try a bit of tea so I gave him some of my Sweet Tangerine tea and he loved it. I don't know if energy tea is the best thing for a kid but I think getting to try one that he really liked helped open up his willingness to try other teas in the winter time. The party was a great time just sitting around with friends and family while relaxing and having some tea together. At the end of the party, each of the guests took a box of tea home with them along with a few coupons to pick up the other flavors that they might like. I think this party was a great success and I will definitely be purchasing more Yogi tea in the future. I especially like that each of the teas is targeted to a specific benefit like energy, stress relief, etc. This is great because myself, and my husband often do not like to take medicine if we can avoid it so having a tea to help with a few general issues instead of a medicine is great. They also have “TRYABOX” opportunities to receive products to test and review without having to host a party. The tryabox opportunities are far more limited than the party host opportunities but always keep an eye out for both types of ways to participate. The house parties are great, they send you a box full with all kinds of goodies to make your party great and there are sometimes coupons to purchase the specified products. There are always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in the last year and have learned about so many great new products and companies so I definitely suggest signing up.
This time I was selected to host a party for Veterans Day featuring Ritter Sport Chocolates. We were selected to host this party partly because our papa is a veteran and we wanted to celebrate him and his service for Veterans Day. My papa was drafted into the army but thanks to his typing skills in those days he
was kept in the United States to type to the superiors rather than going to fight in another country. He has felt that his service was not enough and does not take advantage of veterans benefits so we wanted to show him our appreciation for his service and show him that he did exactly what was needed of him. This company makes amazing chocolates and so many varieties it would be impossible to name so you must check them out, there is a variety for everyone to enjoy.

We had an absolute blast at our Veterans Day party with these chocolates. We followed the party guide and used the boxes of variety mini chocolates to create some pictures on a large table that we have and we used the taste tasting placemats to taste a variety of the chocolates and see which ones each of us liked best. My papa loves chocolate but all my life each person has just gotten just a little bit so each of the little mini chocolates were perfect for him. My papa also loved the Ritter Sport guild that included a history of the company. He took a great deal of time to read through the information then shared it with us along with additional details that he had about the town or friends that he had from Germany. After the party, we had an abundance of chocolate left over so my papa took many of the mini chocolates to share with this Widow/Widowers group that was to meet later that same week. My understanding was that at his party, these chocolates were a big hit. One of his best friends loved them and wanted to send more to another friend of hers so we searched and found out that these were sold at the World Market so my papa and his friend went to one of those stores to get some more of the chocolates. As for the other minis, I took a box to work and shared it with the office where it was also a big hit. My office has many people with a variety of international backgrounds and tastes to these chocolates were quite popular and I had many people tell me how delicious they thought they were and asked where they could purchase some. Luckily, we have a World Market store nearby the office so it was easy to direct people to purchase more. My mom also took another box of the mini chocolates to her Real Estate office where they were also very popular.
This was a great experience to be able to share so many delicious chocolates with so many people. This was by far the most far reaching sample event that I have participated in to date and it definitely generated more talk and excitement than any other samples I have tried.

We hosted the party at our house and invited over all of our friends and family to join us in playing this awesome game. The game was very fun and very easy to understand which was great as it can be difficult to get a group of people to understand and play a new game together. This was especially good because we had my our papa over who is getting quite a bit older and would have difficulty understanding the rules to a complicated new game. We also liked that we were able to easily shorten the game by giving each person less life tokens to start with. This allowed us to play a few different rounds of the game throughout the party and with different players. I also liked that the ease of shortening the game will allow us to play in the evening and still get to bed at a reasonable time. We absolutely enjoyed this game and look forward to taking it to Thanksgiving dinner for the cousins to play together and maybe some adults would like to join in on the fun too. I am a collector and lover of classic monopoly but having tried a totally new game from USAopoly I am now very interested in checking out some of the other great games offered by them that I saw both in the booklets and on the website. Seems like its time to throw out some of the oldies and get some new games in the house!
